The MOH re-confirmed that Tele-health optometry appointments are still the preferred option under Level 1,
but we are now allowed to essentially operate as "normal" with adequate infection prevention control measures in place.
At Stratford Optometrists we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of you, our staff and all our families. We have spent time in Level 2 and 3 putting best-practice infection prevention control measures in place.

We will be ensuring we:
- Screen for COVID-19 symptoms and ensure that ALL unwell patients stay home
- Identify “At risk and vulnerable patients” and offer an initial Tele-consult
- Provide Hand Sanitise on arrival in the practice and prior to a frame selection/dispense
- Keep the numbers in the practice as low as possible by encouraging supporting friends/family to wait in the car and making appointments for spectacle fittings and collections.
- Maintain Physical distancing in the practice by rearranging the waiting room chairs, utilising reception/dispensing/consulting Perspex screens and alternating consulting rooms to allow adequate ventilation, disinfection and physical distancing in the practice.
- Utilise appropriate PPE as necessary (Surgical Masks will be available for our patients)
- Are Maintaining Hygiene Standards, including hand hygiene, disinfecting hard surfaces/frames and Medical equipment.
- Have an accurate Contact Tracing System.
